'Went to CCMs Flattrack day Saturday and it was the conkers! I would have never have thought riding round on a dirt oval with no brakes could be so much fun.
We had Peter Boast as an instructor and was superb, six in a group and started off with slowish slides then moved to the full track with plenty of one on one tuition, with the instructor following us round telling us where we were going wrong or what we were doing right. Then theres a good lunch laid on and more track time.
At the end both instructors put us in all in three groups and had some races.
Very well run and organised, good instructors and a heap load of fun! Would recommend it to anyone. The only down fall of the day was that I had mounted my helmet camera too low and got 20 mins of gravel footage....bugger! And now I want to go again."
