The final round of the 2007 Silkolene Short Track UK series saw CCM factory rider Richard May claim third place in the overall standings after another consistent showing at the Mildenhall circuit in Suffolk.
May placed third on the day behind the experienced Italian rider Beli and eventual champion Boast to secure the bronze medal position. It was a thrilling climax with Richard finishing just ahead of fierce rival Lee, who took fourth spot at the last counting meeting of the 2007 campaign
In the CCM Junior Short Track championship it was Tom Wooley who maintained his 1005 record to take the title with some style. Baker and Hyde finished second and third respectively at Mildenhall, to claim the same positions in the final series standings. The final round saw the biggest entry in this class, in what has proved a successful first season for this new youth championship.
