Silkolene Short Track UK 2007 Series |
CCM's lone factory representative Richard May continued his good run of form in the Thunder Bike class of the 2007 Silkolene Short Track UK championship with another solid third place showing. Whilst ex motocross rider May was unable to head the more experienced duo of Beli and Boast, the supported CCM runner really impressed aboard his 710cc powered machine, and claimed the man of the meeting trophy to add to his podium finish. May now moves up to third place in the overall standings.
Tom Wooley maintained his 100% record in the Junior category, as he once again dominated proceedings ahead of a growing and highly competitive field of emerging oval racing talent. For the second meeting in succession Wooley was joined by Baker and Hyde on the rostrum respectively.
The next round will take place on Saturday 15th September at The BMF Show, East of England Showground, Peterborough.
